Nausea at the thought of food

I'm 9 weeks pregnant, my first pregnancy. Trying my best to eat nutrients rich food for my baby. I've always been a picky eater and sensitive to the smell of food but a huge foodie and have always eaten relatively healthy (minimal to no processed food and no sugar). My sensitivity to smell heightened and just the thought of food, makes me nauseated and it doesn't get better even towards the evenings. Eating/drinking really sour stuff helps for a short while. I can keep the food I eat down, but I dread the thought of the next meal. Because I'm still actively exercising, I would need to eat more. I heard it gets better into the 2nd trimester, but I'm worried if it doesn't. Any active moms here struggling to eat properly? What did you do to get more nutrients in?

Discovered my body could accept double boiled soup with pumpkin or yam rice. Specifically lotus root, pork ribs with peanuts for today.
