Toddler is not following my simple instruction

My child is 2 yr and 2 months old but still he doesnt follow my instructions rather he ignores me if im asking him to get me something Please help

its ok what he's doing according his age, he may not ignore your instructions every time... may be you ask him to do something when he was busy doing something of his interest.... just let him, and involve with him more.
