What do you say to your toddler when she says, "Mama let's play", but you can't because you're trying to put your cranky newborn to sleep? This breaks my heart so much, though I know my newborn needs me more now, my heart hurts seeing my first baby this way.🥺

hi. you can say i'd love to play with you, but lets play after your nap/or after 10 minutes but do not tell her it's because of the baby try to avoid putting the blame on the baby because this will have a negative impact on your toddler that things changed because of the baby.
