Bleeding at week 7

Hi everyone, I am 7 weeks along and just last week I started noticing my discharge turning darker. I panicked and went in to see my gynea multiple times to check, as the discharge continued to turn darker. After 3 days of monitoring, my gynea administered me 100mg of progesterone injection and duphaston to be taken orally twice a day. 2 days after the injection I started noticing the bleeding worsen much more and accompanied by bad cramps and worsening pregnancy symptoms (gas, bloating, breast pain, fatigue). Went in to check this morning, our little one is still doing fine but the cramp and bleeding still continue. I am very worried and wanted to check if anyone had similar experience that eventually turned out positive. Not sure when the bleeding and pain would stop but hoping for a prayers and support right now ❤️

Hi there, I experienced the same thing at week 6. Was worried and went to the gynae for an ultrasound. Turns out that it was a subchronic hematoma. My gynae prescribed progesterone and bed rest. Over the next few weeks I had brown discharge and was passing blood clots. At week 10 now and my baby is fine, keeping my fingers crossed! And sending you some love!

Hi.. does anyone have this kind of discharge at 6 weeks? I went to A&E yesterday because I had very pink mucus discharge. So just to have a peace of mind, I went to get checked. The doctor checked my cervix and did ultrasound too. Seems fine. But today it turns out like this. I do have cramps on and off but not intense.. My next appointment will be next week as doctor wanna check if there's growth or heartbeat. I'm worried as hell since I've had miscarriage before. #advicepls

Seeking Advice: Choosing Between Hospitals for Pregnancy Care in Singapore

I'm a newly pregnant mother and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the multitude of choices available for prenatal care in Singapore, especially since I haven't settled on a gynecologist yet. Cost is certainly a significant consideration for me, but I also strongly prefer a natural birth over a C-section. Additionally, I'm hoping for a bit more support from the hospital staff in terms of guidance for taking care of my child and the necessary check-ups. I've noticed some discussions around the claim process and paperwork involved in public hospitals. Can anyone shed light on how extensive this paperwork might be? Presently, I find myself torn between SGH or KK for public hospital options and Mount E or Thomson Medical for private care. Has anyone had positive or negative experiences they'd be willing to share about these hospitals? Moreover, I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations for gynecologists who align with preferences for natural births and offer supportive care. #HospitalReview #naturalbirth #gynaerecommendation

I gave birth at Thomson. Staffs were friendly and helpful, noted that I was a FTM and was afraid, the nurses tried their best to be gentle and calmed me down thru out the entire process. There are nurses available 24/7 as well, regardless of what time it is, nurses are always smiley as well. Admission (payment of deposit etc) process is smooth and straight forward. They also have express check out for discharge day so you don’t have to queue at the counter for hours just to make payment. My gynae is Dr Adrian Woodworth, he prefers natural as initially I wanted Csect but he told me to think about it as there’s a lot of time left. The thing about him is, he don’t really talk a lot but will answer every questions you have (make sure to prepare whatever questions you have beforehand if you do see him). Occasionally humorous too and rather chillax gynae (don’t have those don’t do this don’t do that). Cons: His ultrasound machine is rather old so don’t expect those IG worthy ultrasound photos. Towards the end of my pregnancy, my ultrasound photos just looks like solar eclipse 😂. DON’T visit their CCK outlet as the nurses there sucks. Punggol and SK’s nurses were good. Pros: Price wise, one of the cheaper ones but also quite pop gynae. Consultation fast (1 min). I managed to give birth naturally and would rate my entire labour process as painless (apart from the first contraction before I had laughing gas). I knew I wanted TMC so I started looking for gynaes that give birth there. Then followed by recommendations from own family and friends, then location wise. Do take note that if you intend to drive there or park there, the traffic is bad. I don’t drive so no issues for me.

Medical certificate given?

Hello! I'll be going for my first ultrasound appointment in 2 weeks. Will a medical certificate be issued? Or do I have to apply for annual leaves for my appointments hereafter?

I went Thomson Medical Women Clinic and Doctor always ask if I need mc.
