cash ceque from hospital

hi mums if i have credit bal from hospital bill will they provide me with a cash cheque? usually how long it takes to reach us? do i have to clear my outstanding bill with hospital before they return me the credit balance? thank you

yes will provide cash cheque within a month. you can leave without paying first they’ll send the bill to you

Infant care teachers

I’m sending my LO to IFC at 2 months. And right now at home I always need to carry and sayng him to sleep in the afternoon. Do infant care teachers find it a hassle and reject my LO ?

they will find their own way to manage LO, yours probably won’t be the most difficult. but be prepared they may not be able to give as much attention as you

Baby poop greenish + yellow

Hi all. My LO is mixed fed and he doesn’t poop everyday. 2-3days once. So to ease his discomfort, we gave him probiotics (biogaia) and recently he’s pooping green and yellow poop. Any parents here who gave biogaia to their LO experience the same thing?

gripe water for newborn?

Can gripe water be given for newborn?

Hi mum.. No, can't. We only can give breastmilk or formula milk for newborn according WHO and paeditricians. It has lots of medical reason why newborn strictly only get breastmilk/formula milk. Most old generation gave gripe water for newborn though only a bit amount such as my MIL did last time. She gave gripe water to her children and push me to do the same thing like she did but i refused cause i believed the expert (doctors) and past & present time are different, lots of things change. Hopefully you only give breastmilk/formula milk as recommendation of doctors. Stay healthy mum and your baby ❤️

No pee after discharge

My 2 day old boy haven not pee since hos discharge. 2 diapers ive change are all clean. Do i need to go back to the hospital?

Has he started drinking EBM/formula? If no, you can monitor a few more days. No liquid intake there may not be much pee.

need help advise pls

hi mummies i am 19days pp. normal delivery. however still feel pain at the below and find myself hard to pass urine and painful when passing urine. which happen like one week ago. anybody experience the same ? please advise ? desperately need help

Is there a burning sensation? If so, do check for infection.. Also, are you constantly cleaning the wound using antiseptic and keeping the area dry?

credit balance in hosp bill

hi mums my hosp bill came back from NUH. it says i have to pay about $100+ after all govt sub. and at the bottom of the bill it writes a credit balance of $1000+ means will they reimburse thru my cpf or chq? or they will keep it for deduction if i ever have any medical appts at nuh?
