Tasty Steamed Fish

  • 400 g grouper fillet (any white fish will do)
  • 2 inch ginger , juliened
  • ½ tsp rice wine
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 stalks onion leeks , chopped
  • 2 stalks cilantro


  1. Fill steamer with required amount of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium.
  2. Pat fish fillet. In a foil or steamer dish, place fish fillet and top with leeks.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sesame oil, light soya sauce and rice wine. Pour all over the fish.
  4. Place fish in the steamer and steam for 10-12 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Remove from steamer and serve.
