Old-Fashioned Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 medium onion sliced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz lean stewing beef chunks
  • 2 medium carrots peeled and sliced
  • 1 large potato peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 cups unsalted chicken stock or beef stock

Steps

  1. I-preheat ang oven ng 300°F. Sa isang flameproof na casserols, i-saute ang mga sibuyas sa langis hangang golden. Idagdag ang beef, at i-saute hangang may kulay. Ihalo ang carrots, patatas, at parsley. I buhos ang stock, at ipakulo.
  2. Takpan ang casserole at ilipat sa oven. Lutuin ng 2 oras, o kapag malambot na ang karne. Magdagdag ng stock kung kailangan.
  3. Kung iipapakain sa mas malaking bata, i-chop sa maliliit na piraso, at ipakain. Sa mga mas maliit na bata, ilagay ang ingredients sa blender o food processor at i-uree. I-serve.
