Fried Scallops

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 400 g scallops
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

Steps

  1. Wash scallops in cold water and clean them with a paper towel.
  2. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
  3. Now add 1/2 tbsp of salt to the crumbs. Dunk the scallops in the crumbs and then in the beaten egg batter.
  4. Deep fry the scallops for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. If they are white in the middle, they are done.
  5. Turn off the heat and take the scallops out of the frying pan. Drain excess oil on a paper towel and serve hot with sauce or tartar sauce.
