Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 400 g scallops
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
Steps
- Wash scallops in cold water and clean them with a paper towel.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- Now add 1/2 tbsp of salt to the crumbs. Dunk the scallops in the crumbs and then in the beaten egg batter.
- Deep fry the scallops for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. If they are white in the middle, they are done.
- Turn off the heat and take the scallops out of the frying pan. Drain excess oil on a paper towel and serve hot with sauce or tartar sauce.
