Malay Ginger Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2-inch chunk fresh ginger, juliienned
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 bowls leftover rice
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 spring onion
  • 120 g sausage meat Any meat of your choice
  • 1 coriander leaves

Steps

  1. Heat the sesame oil and sauté ginger until aromatic.
  2. Add your choice of meat and cook well done.
  3. Add in the beaten egg and when the eggs are almost ready, add in the rice.
  4. Stir the rice thoroughly and add the light soy sauce and stir till well combined.
  5. Add the chopped spring onion and coriander leaves to garnish the dish.
