diagnosed with gestational diabetes

is it safe for me to induce? My edd is actually nov 1 but my baby now is already 2.8 kg that's why my doctor suggested to me to do induce tjis coming tues coz if i wait till my edd the baby will keep on growing might be risk for caesarean and idont want it anyone tried induce before or know someone? is it painful to got induce ??ty#firstmom
