diagnosed with gestational diabetes

Question

is it safe for me to induce? My edd is actually nov 1 but my baby now is already 2.8 kg thats why my doctor suggested to me to do induce tjis coming tues coz  if i wait till my edd the baby will keep on growing might be risk for caesarean and idont want itanyone tried induce before or know someone? is it painful to got induce ??ty#firstmom

Mine is induced due to low fluid and I would say other than the first contraction, my delivery is pretty much painless because I took laughing gas and epidural. I didn’t know about having ecsect if inducing fails back then so you might wanna mentally prepare yourself just in case. Wishing you a smooth delivery!
