From 29 weeks now 30 - braxton hicks and more?

Other than braxton hicks i occasionally feel the base of my spine squeezing itself.. is that normal? I had it once when i was lying on my bed 2 days ago and then today when i was on the bus otw to work. #firsttimemom i tried googling it the other day but only thing i could find was back pain, lol this pretty extreme back pain i think

Yes, it is normal to have Braxton Hicks contractions at 30 weeks of pregnancy. Braxton Hicks contractions are common in the third trimester and are usually painless and irregular. They are your body's way of preparing for labor Yes, extremely bad backache is also a common symptom during pregnancy, especially during the third trimester. It is caused by the extra weight of the baby and the changes in your body as your pregnancy progresses. It is important to talk to your doctor if your backache is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, chills, or pain in your abdomen.
