CASTOR OIL

My mom bought me castor oil and i’m 9 weeks pregnant. She’s a nurse so I thought I could trust her. But I went to search online and found negative feedback. However, just to be on a safer side, to ask my fellow mummies here, IS IT OK TO APPLY CASTOR OIL ON MY BELLY?????? TO AVOID STRETCH MARKS????? How about just using stretch mark creams/bio oil instead? If in doubt, best to avoid.

I’m the poster! I’ve been using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula but it’s almost going to finish and my mom took the initiative buy me castor oil (thankful for the thoughtfulness) but after I researched, they said it could induce labour. So I’m like… 🥲🫨🤯 I didn’t want to waste her money and effort but like… uh. Maybe I’ll just not use it. Huhu or I’ll ask my OB this week.
