Hey there! I totally understand how overwhelming it can be to deal with gestational diabetes. It's important to monitor your blood sugar levels regularly to identify which foods might be causing spikes. Usually, doctors recommend checking your blood sugar levels with a glucose meter before and after meals. This will give you a good idea of how different foods affect your body. Typically, it's advised to check fasting blood sugar in the morning, and then 1-2 hours after each meal. So, that could mean pricking yourself around 4-6 times a day. It might seem like a lot, but it's really helpful for managing gestational diabetes. Don't worry, you're not alone in this. Many moms have been through the same thing and have come out the other side with healthy pregnancies. It's normal to feel a bit down about it, but just remember that by being proactive and monitoring your levels, you're taking great care of yourself and your baby. Stay strong, mama! #gestationaldiabetes #pregnancyconcerns https://invl.io/cll6she

I did mine 7 times a day. Before and after meals (breakfast lunch dinner and before u sleep). Depending on ur gynae advise, I did 1-2 times a week. They would provide u sheet of paper to fill up too, probably can check w the clinic/hospital nurse
