brown discharge

I've experienced brown discharge at 5-7 weeks, no pain at all. Mild one was like mucus with tinted brown, heavier one was like spotting. The OB did a check of my vagina bcuz she's afraid there's unexpected growth inside vagina, but nothing was found. And concluded the discharge was probably due to sexual intercourse. I'm 11 weeks now :)
