12 days baby sleep straight 7 hours at the afternoon is it normal?

My 2nd newborn was like that but not my 1st child. I did ask doctor during follow up, but she mentioned it is common because they are tired and loves to sleep. They will wake up when they want. I did try waking her up for feeding still same. So what I did was to only pump and keep the stash. But, once she wake up, Ill make sure sure latch long.
