Csect wound

Hi. Its my 12th day post Csect. Does anyone know how long roughly does the external wound takes to close up? Removed my waterproof dressing on the 7th day and till today some parts of the wound still not close entirely. Certain days it get reddish in colour but no pain, pus or swelling. Is it normal? Should i consult GP? #pleasehelp #advicepls #kkh

It will take atleast about a week or three. Depends on individual wound. Should let say the wound doesn't heal properly, any pain, pus, blood etc. Do call up KKH for advice. They just did a follow up call today to check on my post pregnancy after care and if there's anything wrong or doubt.

May i know how many weeks PP are you right now and which exact hotline for KKH should i call for advice? It just felt like they didnt prepare me with proper after care for my csect upon discahrge as only oral painkillers & antibiotics were given but no cream or whatsoever for the csect wound.
