After weaning, until when do you still pump or hand express? I've weaned for a month now and have gradually lessened the pumps to just when I'm engorged but I don't know if emptying the breast is just prolonging the weaning process?

1 month after I weaned baby from my breast I stopped pumping and expressing already. Since day 1 of weaning I only pumped twice max which made my body produced lesser milk till it's totally "gone". I indulged myself to caffein which I totally craved for the past months and probably some stressors helped me move on it this phase too. LOL

Pump just to lessen the engorgement of your breasts. Never empty them as it signals your body to produce more milk. You can try the cabbage technique and eat lots of cabbage or drink lots of tea. This helps you in making less milk. You can also consult your OB so you can get proper guidance regarding that matter
