You should feel little kicks at certain spots initially, or some movement of your belly that’s not caused by you. Small movements at first. Feels like butterflies in your tummy. As baby grows (3rd trimester), the kicks get stronger, and movements become like waves moving around in your belly. Sometimes ticklish, sometimes uncomfortable, but mostly makes you feel happy:)

If I not wrong, count from 13th Aug (1st week) ? As you mentioned week 8 & 6 days. You are in First trim. Double check with your gynae, ask him/her to explain.
