Is reading a part of your bedtime routine with your kids?

It's our routine not only on bedtimes but in mornings and afternoons too. Reading enhances a child's vocabulary as well as speech development in general. Just be clear and enunciate the words slowly.

We don't do it on a regular basis. We are more on practical activities like role playing. We don't hold books all the time.

yes it is a routine for us to have a Bible story at night though my lo is only looking at the pictures.

Agree that reading to kids is very important. Sometimes parents are too occupied. Need to balance out.
