Hi mommy! The nginig can either be normal or not. Newborns usually have jitteriness especially when they get startled, hypothermic or hypoglycemic. It is different from jerking movement which may be a sign of a neurologic problem. I agree with the other members. Please have baby checked for further evaluation.
