My son is 16 yet he has very scant hair growth. As a result, he is very depressed and doesn't want to socialize. He is losing his confidence and I can't see him like this. What should I do?

Most boys have scanty facial hair growth in their teens so he needs to understand it is very normal. Beards only start coming in full form when they are in their 20s. It also depends on genetics. So he just has to wait. Until then he can follow a healthy diet to remain in the right BMI range, exercise in the day which helps in increasing testosterone (helps in beard growth), consume proteins and nuts. If he really is depressed you could take him to counsellor, they might help him to boost his confidence.
