My child has congenital hydrocephalus. It was a heartbreaking news para sa amin. What we did, we chose the best hospital na pwede magfacilitate ng needs ng baby ko. Na CS ako sa PGH. Afterwards nagstay si baby sa NICU para sa paghihintay ng surgery. A hydrocephalus childs needs VP Shunt placement. A tubing na magddrain ng excess water sa head. It was successful. Ngayon my child is 13 mos old already and doing well. But as expected he has developmental delays so mahalaga na always follow doctor’s appointments.
