Is it normal for newborn to make grunting noises and snorting sounds during BF or sleeping? My LO is coming to 1 month old and he had these since he was born.

Yes! It's very normal. The symphony of sounds you hear are just your young baby's respiratory system getting used to life outside the womb. All those snorts and grunts from young babies happen due to nose-breathing which makes it possible for baby to breathe and breastfeed at the same time. You should only be worried if baby's breathing seems laboured and difficult.

Oh thanks! But it tends to bother me because he will spit out while stretching and drinking, even before I can lift him up to burp. Guess it's really a phase, thanks for your reassurance!

Yes it is normal! Grunting noise will go away by itself ard 3to4months..u wont even realise haha
