Small Tummy

Hi mummies. I'm currently 37+4. My height and weight is abt 170cm / 90kg. Baby is currently 2.9kg during my scan last friday. But I've received a lot of comments from colleagues and even strangers saying that my tummy is small. I'm trying to console myself by telling myself that maybe my hips are just big and that baby is more nestled inside so the tummy doesnt seem that big. Have any one you ever experienced this? Any of you with full term babies born 2 kg plus?

Who cares the size of your bump, as long as both you and the baby are healthy? People always have something to say

It’s okay. I could fit into my normal pants and dress even at wk38 lol. My baby turned out to be born at 2.8kg

Super Mum

My tummy was small too. I gave birth at 37w + 2 and baby was 2.2kg. As long as baby is healthy, it's fine :)

Ppl will always comment everything. They will have even more comments after baby is born. Learn to ignore

My tummy also small at week 38. Bb at 3kg when born. Weight gain throughout preg only 8kg..

Tummy size does not determine baby size. Small tummy is normal.

2.9kg is normal leh. You still have 2 weeks to go.

As long checkup is fine. No worry
