“Solid Starts” is a great app (paid app tho) for baby led weaning. Otherwise you can follow their ig for free tips, and they are plentiful. They do show you videos of babies that are ready (and also not ready) for solids, mentioned about chocking vs gagging (which is normal and okay), how to cut and serve various food safely, what are iron-rich food, all about introducing allergens etcs. It was one of my baby’s first food and is iron-rich. I started solids with my baby at 6 months. I preload the spoon and have him put it into his mouth himself. BLW is quite messy, so I will only try it when i have time and help for clean up. You can also buy store-bought food if you do not have the time to make your own puree/ food. Good to look into cooking in bulk and freezing your home-made food to save time. Starting solids can be daunting and scary, but it is so fun to watch your baby eat! Baby may constipate when starting solid, so they may need some water or have prune puree/ juice for help them poop. Worse come to worse, you may need to see a PD about it. Great igs to follow for food ideas.
