Fever in babies younger than three months old could be a sign of infection and should be brought to a doctor. Because their immune systems are still developing, they are at higher risk for severe infections. If a newborn has a fever of over 38 degrees, please bring him/her to the doctors. Also, if the baby has a body temperature of lower than 35.6degrees, it is also a cause of concern and medical attention is needed.
