Contractions at 16 weeks?

I'm currently in my 16th week going to 17th, but I have ongoing contractions in my uterus area since yesterday. Is t normal? Or is it what they call a braxton hicks? It comes and goes and I'm worried. #advicepls #firstbaby #pregnancy
