Is it safe ?

I'm 29yo. Just delivered a baby boy(6months). Unfortunately, due to my work load, I couldn't spend more time with him. One day, I went back home earlier and was shocked when my Philippines house maid breastfeed my baby. I was shocked ! I scolded her badly and asked the reason why she did that ? She answered thaty boy was keep crying and she have no choice than breastfeed him. Is it ok to let her breastfeed him ?

😱 I’m sorry but Personally Nooooo! There’s always other ways. Bottle feed/pacifier/ bring baby down for a walk/ Carrier / on children music etc She’s supposed to tc of baby n housework, not bf baby!! She got to learn n understand baby’s cue n such if u are working. Becos most of the time she’s at hm w baby. What if this continues whatever u have no time, baby tend to wants her boobs instead of yours?? Even toddler age, still find her (day&middle of the night )? 😰 Anyway did she “clean” her boobs before bf your baby? She’s able to bf still?!!

Well this totally depends on you ....I honestly don't really think she did wrong ....but asking Ur permission wud have also helped....lots of mothers who lactate more give their breastmilk out but don't actually feed the kids direct ....if Ur ok with it and it helps Ur baby to be calm then it's ok but make sure the maid is clean and hygienic.....also check with Ur Dr too if it's ok

1-Please get her medical check up done first. 2-It is OK if she is breast feeding but she should have taken ur permission atleast informed u, or get ur baby substitute food. Since he is already 6 months u can start giving solids, the taste might help him get rid of breastfeeding.
