first time mom

Im 17 weeks preggy now, my last check up was april 6, OB told me to go back on may 11 for my prenatal check up since it as a monthly visit. Unfortunately, i had a cough because of the weather condition here in the Philippines (summer) right now. I want to visit my OB today because i am worried of my cough, but im afraid she might scold me for not following her instructions. What should i do?
