At which week in 3rd trim will the gynae be sharing the birth plan?

My gynae started discussing abt it at 36th wk but we only confirmed it at 38th wk as I was contemplating abt getting an elective csect, which I eventually did at 39th wk due to baby's big size. Frm 36th wk onwards it's a weekly appt.
