Hi - I use betadine gargles in second trimester for sore throat. My gynae suggested that it's safe, but still there are some pages which say that it's not safe. Is anyone else been prescribed the betadine gargles?
There’s an app called LactMed. You can download and read for further investigation. Betadine mouthwash is there. It seems safe for short time period and preferably not for late term mummies.
