Hi Anjana the thing about breastmilk is that the more you feed, the more your milk glands will produce milk. so, i would suggest you let your baby suckle on one breast for 20 minutes, then again on the other for 20 minutes. this will definitely improve production. also, there are some foods you can try that are known to increase milk production, such as oats, spinach, cinnamon, lauki (bottle gourd), methi seeds, saunf and carrots. check out this link to know more http://www.webmd.com/parenting/baby/ss/slideshow-increase-milk-supply http://www.thehealthsite.com/pregnancy/10-foods-that-increase-breast-milk-supply-in-mothers-da0115/

Hi Anjana, please keep feeding the baby even if you think you are not producing enough milk. this will trick the glands into thinking that baby is hungry and needs more milk, and that is how the glands produce more. also, you can add methi seeds in your rotis, parathas, sabzi and so on, as they are really good for increasing breastmilk. you can also soak fenugreek seeds in water overnight and have them in the morning, and drink the water too.

I agree with the above. The more you feed the more will be the production. I had lots of methi and it really helps. I used to have methi sabzi or methi paratha or methi rice.
