Formula milk during flight

Hi, FTM with formula milk fed baby. I read that baby milk is exempted from the LAG restriction. Does that mean I can bring my thermal flask filled 500 ml of hot water? I know I can request hot water from the cabin crew, but I am afraid there is not enough time for the hot water to cool down for baby to drink. Hence, I thought it will be easier if I can bring my own hot water, so as and when I can prepare the milk. Anyone with experience to share? Thanks in advance!! :)

I flew SQ, can just follow the FA and let them know how much water (hot cold ratio) fill until which level etc. I made formula on board and wasn’t too hot so baby could drink immediately. Anyways, try to pack baby’s milk powder, bottles and thermal flask together in a bag. Usually they see baby with you they won’t open and check, at most ask you what is inside that’s all.
