Maternity insurance

Did anyone buy any maternity insurance? Which did u go for and how much does it cost? Currently 14 weeks and thinking if I should purchase one. #Needadvice

Yes it’s really essential to get especially the one bundled with baby, to protect yourself and baby when baby is born. And better to get it soon before you test for GD or more complications coming in along the way. Definitely recommended to get, to protect both yourself and baby. I have gotten one that would convert to a life plan for baby :-) depending on your budget, you may adjust the coverage accordingly. Or you may always just get the standalone maternity plan. I gotten from Pru, certain coverage was covered hence I went with it.

Yes, usually better to buy before the results for fts or nipt is out as some cover the cost in case you want to discontinue with the pregnancy. The mum policy will auto convert to child's life insurance once born :)

Incase anything just buy to protect ownself and baby. usually range $400-500+ protection upon birth till 3yrs.
