The mood swings could be due to your hormones, lack of sleep, adjustment to your new role, or Postpartum Depression (PPD). With regard to PPD, you can refer to these two articles for some warning signs to watch out for: [This article described the symptoms in easy-to-relate way] http://www.postpartumprogress.com/the-symptoms-of-postpartum-depression-anxiety-in-plain-mama-english [And this article highlighted eight symptoms that are not often mentioned] http://sg.theasianparent.com/8-unexpected-symptoms-of-postpartum-depression/ While it is common to feel down and frustrated at times, if you find yourself constantly in a depressed mood, or easily provoked (much more than usual), it may suggest it is something more serious. No matter what, share with your loved ones any concerns or problems that may be bothering you. Venting out your frustrations and getting someone to help you with the baby so that you could get some rest would likely help too. Sometimes, that couple of hours of quality sleep would work wonders! Take care!

I wouldn't say this is normal but kind of common. You need to help yourself 1st in order for others to help you.
