Choosing a boys name

How do you usually decide on your child's name if both are different genders. my #1 is girl and I'm expecting a boy this time. #1 name is Clarabelle. Would you choose a name that begins with the alphabet 'C' for your #2 or? Any nice names to suggest for baby boys?

I had a famous artist/painter name in mind when I was pregnant. However, my baby was quite a kicker, he(as I later found out the gender from the ultrasound scans) literally loves to kick a lot in my belly when I was pregnant with him. Anyway what I did was to read out (aloud) several baby names I liked from my mum's old book of baby names and one of the names wasn't met with any resistance (this was the one name he didn't kick at from within my belly, unlike all the others). I even felt a sense of inner peace when I mentioned that name aloud. That was how I knew that would be my baby's name 😂.

I think you will probably need more bottles. Cot would be whether you intend to co-sleep with the newborn and also depends on what is your current sleeping arrangement with your firstborn. If your firstborn is still using the rocker, you may also need to consider getting another one to avoid your firstborn from getting jealous that his/her things are being taken away. Tandem strollers would be convenient in future if the need arises. But like what Vanessa mentioned, may be good to see how your children like being in the stroller. Guess one important thing to get is a gift from the baby to his/her elder sibling. And also one from the elder one to the newborn. All the best Mummy!!! Hope you can get as much rest as you can possibly get now!

i am a sahm and i'm now suffering from burnout. Currently, caring for a 3yo toddler and 3mo baby. at times, the demand is too overwhelming especially when both are breastfed and both wakes up for night feed freqently. #1 tends to use his teeth when he feeds which irritates me. while #2 fuss over fast flow and often make a mess. #1 has been d/l and will only want d/l... he refuse to wean. i hate breastfeeding (to certain extend). sorry for such a negative post.

I think you need to start training your 3 year old toddler to take the bottle or drink from a cup so that you can focus on breastfeeding your 3 month old baby. It will help tremendously. In time to come, your body can regulate the milk supply. Hang in there! It’s amazing that you can breastfeed for so long. I am so envious...
